What is rheumatism?
Rheumatism may occur in many different ways - it is not a disease in itself. All "inexplicable" pains of the locomotor system, of the sinews, muscles, ligaments, joints or within connective tissue are attributed to rheumatism.
There are many different kinds of rheumatism, that's why the diagnoses are often delayed or inaccurate.
The course of the rheumatic disease depends greatly on intensity and quality of the treatment. The early diagnosis and the consistent treatment are essential. The optimal use of all available measures requires special knowledge and experience.
With special laboratory and x-ray examinations our rheumatologist will narrow down your kind of rheumatism.
